Bärbel Bas patron
of 15th GSA.

The President of the German Bundestag Bärbel Bas becomes patron of the 15th German Sustainability Award. The event will take place on 1 and 2 December and consists of two days of congress during the day and two award ceremonies in the evenings.

Competitions start in difficult times.

This year's competitions begin in days of uncertainty. The war in Ukraine will predictably also hinder sustainable transformation. But first it is important to help the people on the ground. This is what we are doing through our long-standing partner SOS Children's Villages. Perhaps an idea for you, too.

After a successful debut in 2020, the German Sustainability Award for sustainable design was presented for the second time on the evening of 2 December 2021. 25 winners from a wide range of industries accepted the award virtually or on site at the MARITIM Hotel Düsseldorf. We are very much looking award to the third round which will take place on 1 December 2022.

A symbol of sustainability.

With the seal of the GSA, nominees, finalists and winners can document their top position in the field of sustainability - towards customers, suppliers, media and the financial world. The GSA seal is a renowned external recognition, makes the pioneers recognizable and ensures a head start in the market. The GSA seal gives consumers orientation in their search for sustainable alternatives.

More than one billion media contacts.

An award is only as strong as the attention it receives. With around 6,000 reports and in cooperation with over 50 media partners, the GSA 2021 achieved a gross media reach of 1.5 billion in Germany. Alongside intensive press work is cooperation with 3Sat/ZDF and other media partners from the daily and trade press as well as online media. Special supplements and advertisements present the players around the DNP, generate reach and help to further increase the impact of the award.
